FINALLY.....

.....WOW! Has it really been that long? I guess it has because the blogspot calendar does not lie!

A LOT has happened in my life since I last posted. My 'new life' began on December 17, 2010 when, after a lot of talking with family and friends and a lot of prayer, I quit my job at GameStop after over 8 years with the company! But it has been for the better in more ways than one:
-I no longer have to take sleeping pills on Sunday night to get to sleep because I dread going into work on Monday morning!
-I have a FANTASTIC job with a WONDERFUL boss (and I would say that even if he followed my blog) and co-workers I love and admire for their ability to act like adults and not teenagers!
-My ulcers are healing!
-I actually smile AND wear makeup on a daily basis now! (I know, pick yourself up off the floor and continue reading)

Bryan still travels a lot with his job BUT since I work for American Eagle Airlines too, my boss is VERY UNDERSTANDING if I have to alter my schedule somewhat to accommodate the mommy shuttle. Told ya he was great!

Pam is nearing the end of her 3rd Grade year. Next thing I know it will be May 2020 and she will be marching down to Pomp and Circumstance! Wait, Joanna, don't think about that.

I will be posting much more now that I got a Netbook from my very generous next door neighbor that didn't want it.

Love to all!

It's Been a While

.....life has been INSANE!

Bryan was gone Monday-Thursday every week in the month of August on business trips. He's gone now until Friday. I love him and love that he loves his job. He's been getting accolades left and right for his work and I think that's OUTSTANDING!

I've been working my 40 hour weeks, spending approximately 2 hours a day in commuting and being a "single mother". I now have a HUGE appreciation for single parents. I love my daughter, don't get me wrong, but my little mini-me is exactly that...a mini-me! 2 me's in one room, together, 4 nights a week...we do tend to get on each other's nerves. The need for adult conversation does creep in at times.

My ulcers have been acting up I think. On the plus side of that, I've lost 15 pounds. Watching my portions, calories and non-appetite ulcer attacks can all help in a good way.

I hope all of my friends and family had a good summer. You wouldn't know summer is over around here with temperatures still in the mid 90's, but I keep telling myself I'm gonna wish for those temperatures in December and January and to remember this time.

Love to all!
